Having unpacked your plants if it is not possible to plant out right away then keep them in a shady spot, do not over-water. In the main Herbs like the sun and not too wet a position. Stone or grit in the bottom of the planting hole will usually help, as they do not like wet roots. Always check our catalogue or label for planting instructions.

Plant Pot Size

In the main our plants are grown in 1.5 litre pots to ensure good root growth and each plant and pot is inspected prior to being sent to our customers. Some of the annuals are in smaller pots but these are not available for mail order at present as they do not fit snuggly in our special boxes.

We offer an extensive range of culinary and medicinal plants, including a variety of larger specimens for those who want "instant" results. We are also happy to grow to order and will be pleased to discuss your requirements.
